You are a Team.
Before you decide your Background, Profession, and what Drives you, you should build your character with the other players at the table! What you figure out collaboratively will help inform the other aspects of your character.
Shared Roots
Develop a relationship with at least 2 other players at the table.
This relationship should have a Type and a Detail. Use the tables below or come up with your own!

Character Hooks
Besides being connected to the other players, we need to hook your character's story into the plot of the adventure & mystery.
Please come up with at least 2 of the following as you build your Background:
- A named person your character cares about, living or dead (e.g. sibling, spouse, childhood friend)
- A phobia or trauma your character has experienced
- A mystery in your character's life (e.g. unknown parents, mysterious encounters, unanswered questions)
- An enemy your character has, and why
- Any ongoing obligation or loyalty your character has
- An obligation your character has failed
- A serious crime your character has committed
- A crime your character is falsely accused of
- A secret your character is keeping
